Dr. Georgette Lee is a veteran educator who has spent over thirty years teaching in Barbados, The Bahamas, and the United States at the elementary through university levels. She is a member of the National Society of Poets, and her poems have received many Editor's Choice awards. Dr. Lee is an international educational consultant and presenter, and her research interests include learning disabilities, inclusive education, and content area literacy. She is the author of two poetry collections- "Seasons" and "Poetically Speaking: Poems for the Elementary Classroom"; and a heartwarming memoir, "Layers of Living".
